After putting on hold my DIY project on making a cropped jacket out of a bomber one for a month (how sad), I managed to get time today buying soft-colored and tulle-themed brooches to top up the whole look.

This was last month's progress, before I added the brooches...

I did wear the uncompleted jacket a while ago, and lets just call that, the soft launch. Today, I proudly present you the end result hehehhehe...yay!!

Haaaaa....what a crazy Saturday....Dina and I met up at Senayan City to have lunch, then the 2 of us spontaneously thought of just going to Puncak (some place on the highlands) afterwards to attend some gathering night till the (next) morning...ahahah...and there we were, freezing to death the whole night cuz of the totally wrong outfit for such a cold place hehehhehe...

Had some sleep on some sofa before we headed back...and oh yeah, I'm back home now still wearing this outfit....ewww....

Lo que debe de evitar en una boda

Siempre es bueno recordar algunos aspectos de conducta que deberíamos evitar el día de la boda a fin de que la misma no se arruine y sea motivo de chismes y malos entendidos. La idea es que los novios pasen un gran momento y que sus invitados también se sientan alegres de haber asistido a tan grande evento. Es por ello necesario tomar en cuenta ciertos patrones de conducta que se deben evitar para no pasar un día lleno de vergüenzas por parte del anfitrión.

Lo que debemos evitar lo resumiremos en las siguientes líneas:

1. Despedidas de solteros extrema: Tener una despedida de soltero en la cual los novios terminen embriagados o realizando actos que sean luego motivo de arrepentimiento, no es la clave del éxito para el día de la boda. Ponerse en el zapato del otro será conveniente para actuar como debe ser sin avergonzar ni faltar el respeto a ninguno de los dos.

2. Comunicar la lista de novios como si estuviéramos haciendo marketing directo: Esta bien que los novios se registren en alguna casa por departamentos para facilitar a los invitados a comprar el regalo de novio, pero colocar la lista impresa en la invitación!?, o enviar vía mail la lista de regalos a los invitados para que compren el regalo, nos parece un tanto fuera de tono y poco prudente.

3. Dejar que los invitados escogan con quien sentarse en la recepción: Para algunos novios es más fácil dejar que los invitados se las arreglen para elegir en que mesa de la recepción sentarse y con quién, pero debemos pensar que es muchas veces para ellos muy pesado estar paseándose por todas las mesas buscando los sitios que calcen con su número de amigos y además tener que estar preguntando “este sitio esta libre?”. Considero que más adecuado sería que los novios se ropan la cabeza distribuyendo lo mejor posible a sus invitados y evitar este tipo de situaciones para ellos.

4.Llevar cámara de fotos digital y hacer que los invitados les tomen las fotos a los novios. Si bien es cierto que contrataste a tu fotógrafo para las fotos de la ceremonia siempre quieres de todas formas que te tomen fotos con tu cámara digital no profesional y algunas veces le sugerimos a amigos que nos ayude a tomar fotos. Lo que hay que tener presente es que sea una persona de tu entera confianza o familiar en todo caso que estemos seguros no tendrá ningún problema en hacerlo y además que sepa tomar fotos, caso contrario, gastarán tiempo por nada.

5. Hacer del día de la ceremonia un día interminable. No hay peor escena cuando los invitados están cansados de esperar a los novios para llegar a la recepción por poner un ejemplo, traten de coordinar con su fotógrafo una eficiente sesión fotográfica en la cual no se tomen más de 40 minutos.

6.Caer en lo vulgar en el acto de quitar la liga. Algunos novios gustan de realizar el acto de quitar la liga a la novia con los dientes y entregársela al amigo que más quieren para que éste se la ponga a una amiga de la novia. Esta acción que debe ser divertida para ellos como para los invitados debe guardar cierta prudencia de forma tal que se vea un acto jovial, alegre, corto, divertido y nada censurable.

Siempre habrán más acciones que podamos evitar, pero creo que éstas podrían ser las principales. Si crees que hay alguna otras, coméntales a las otras novias para enriquecer la lista.
